Techstars Startup Weekend Andijan 2026

Techstars Uzbekistan brings its Startup Weekend format to Andijan on 18-20 September 2026, opening the platform's autumn regional season. Startup Weekend is a 54-hour intensive: participants pitch raw ideas on Friday evening, form teams around the strongest concepts, then spend the weekend validating the idea, building a prototype and preparing a final pitch for a panel of expert judges. What participants do:

• Pitch and select ideas, then self-organise into cross-functional teams
• Validate demand and test assumptions with real customers
• Build a working prototype or MVP under strict time pressure
• Present to judges from the local and international startup ecosystem

The programme is aimed at developers, designers, product people, students and first-time founders. No prior startup experience is required - teams are formed on site. The event is run by Hackonnect, the Tashkent-based programme operator behind Techstars Uzbekistan, which has hosted Startup Weekends in Uzbekistan for seven years. Techstars Uzbekistan positions itself as an innovation-development platform rather than a recruiting channel, using the weekend format to surface talent that a CV cannot show.
