ICISCT 2026 - International Conference on Information Science and Communications Technologies

ICISCT 2026 — the International Conference on Information Science and Communications Technologies — takes place on 27–28 November 2026 at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The IEEE-affiliated conference brings together scientists, researchers and engineers across 11 technical tracks, covering artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics, IoT, cybersecurity, photonics and emerging communications technologies. Traders Fair Uzbekistan 2026

Traders Fair comes to Uzbekistan for the first time, landing at the JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent (Batir Zakirov Street 5-7) on 14 November 2026. Run by FINEXPO/iEvents, the one-day fair gathers the whole trading and fintech ecosystem: retail and professional traders, brokers, introducing brokers, payment providers, exchanges and financial technology companies from Central Asia and beyond. Tashkent Fintech International Forum 2026

The Tashkent Fintech International Forum takes place on 12-14 November 2026 at the Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan (CAEx) in Tashkent. The forum is an international platform for interaction between government, the financial sector and technology business, focused on developing the digital economy, deploying innovative solutions and shaping modern financial infrastructure for the region. E-TechExpo 2026 is the 5th anniversary edition of Uzbekistan's International Exhibition of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Innovative Technologies, held at Uzexpocentre NEC in Tashkent on 10-12 November 2026. The exhibition covers electronics, electrical engineering, automation, robotics, control systems and digital solutions, alongside cable and wire technologies and renewable energy engineering (solar and wind). Established in Tashkent in 2022 and organised by Iteca Exhibitions, it has grown into one of Central Asia's reference platforms for hardware, industrial automation and embedded technology. InnoWeek 2026 — International Week of Innovative Ideas

InnoWeek 2026, the International Week of Innovative Ideas, runs on 27–29 October 2026 at the CAEx Uzbekistan (Central Asian Expo) exhibition complex in Tashkent. This year's theme is "Advanced Innovations for a Changing World". Organised by the Agency for Innovative Development under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, InnoWeek is Uzbekistan's flagship innovation forum and exhibition. It brings together scientists, startup founders, investors, corporates and government representatives across roughly thirty formats: international conferences, panel discussions, seminars, roundtables, B2B and B2G meetings, and project presentations. Focus areas for 2026:

• Industrial engineering and advanced manufacturing

For students and young innovators, the programme includes startup competitions, masterclasses, training sessions and direct meetings with potential investors. Cyber Security Summit (CSS) 2026 - Central Eurasia

The Cyber Security Summit (CSS) 2026 - Central Eurasia is an annual, in-person conference held on 5–7 October 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, hosted by the National Cybersecurity Centre of Uzbekistan together with Dialogue Events. The summit convenes national security centres, government agencies, cybersecurity solution providers and information-security leaders from across the commercial and industrial sectors of Central Eurasia. Over three days, delegates take part in briefings, technology showcases, networking and business collaboration focused on strengthening the region's cyber resilience. IT Park GovTech AI Challenge 2026

IT Park Uzbekistan's GovTech AI Challenge invites regional and global startups to bring AI solutions that make public services faster, cheaper, and easier to reach. Applications closed on 23 July 2026; the shortlisted teams pitch at the Demo Day held during ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026 at CAEx Tashkent (Milliy bog' street 1) on 25 September. Focus areas

Format and prize Three to five finalists compete at the Demo Day. One winner takes US$10,000 and a route into piloting with Uzbek government platforms. Requirements Solutions must be market-ready or close to it, support Uzbek and Russian, comply with Uzbekistan's digital security regulations, and offer an API-first architecture suitable for integration with national platforms. The challenge is administered on the Ignyte platform and appears in the ICT Week programme as the "Ignyte Challenge by IT Park".

AWS Community Day Central Asia 2026 - Tashkent

AWS Community Day Central Asia 2026 comes to Tashkent on 25 September 2026, hosted at CAEx (Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan), Main Hall 1, Milliy bog' street 1. It is organised by the AWS User Group Tashkent and closes out ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026 (22-25 September), which runs at the same venue. What it is: AWS Community Days are one-day, community-led conferences where the content is owned and delivered by community speakers, leaders and volunteers rather than by AWS itself. The Central Asia edition is run jointly by the AWS user group communities of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Programme: technical sessions, hands-on labs and networking, covering serverless, AI/ML, containers, security, DevOps and cloud architecture. Three session formats are on the agenda - short talks (~25 minutes), full talks (~45 minutes) and workshops (~2 hours). Sessions are delivered in English. Startup World Cup 2026 — Uzbekistan Regional Final (Tashkent)

The Startup World Cup holds its first-ever Uzbekistan regional final in Tashkent on 24 September 2026, at CAEx (Central Asia Expo) as part of ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026. Powered by Silicon Valley's Pegasus Tech Ventures and organised locally by Don'tSettle, the regional final puts founders on a 950-seat main stage alongside keynotes, investor matchmaking and panel discussions. Prize The regional winner receives airfare and entry to the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco on 6 November 2026, where startups compete for a $1,000,000 investment prize. Global Startup Ecosystem Awards 2026

For the first time, the Global Startup Ecosystem Awards will be held in Uzbekistan. The ceremony takes place on 23 September 2026 in Tashkent as part of ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026, organised by IT Park Uzbekistan in partnership with StartupBlink, the research company behind the annual Global Startup Ecosystem Index. The awards recognise the world's leading startup ecosystems and the people and institutions building them. AI Data Center Infra Central Asia 2026 is a two-day industry conference at the Hyatt Regency Tashkent focused on the data-center and AI-infrastructure build-out across Central Asia. Agentic Football Cup Tashkent 2026

The Agentic Football Cup comes to Tashkent on 22 August 2026, hosted by the AWS User Group Tashkent at School 21 (Ziyolilar 13, Mirzo-Ulugbek district). Participants build a squad of AI agents, deploy them, and watch them compete against other teams in live-streamed 3D football matches. Strategy is iterated between matches, with AWS solutions architects on hand to help throughout the day. Key details

35 LVL Game Jam

35 LVL Game Jam is a three-day game development marathon held on 21-23 August 2026 at the School 21 campus in Tashkent, with an online participation track open to entrants from across Uzbekistan. The jam is organised jointly by IT Park Uzbekistan, School 21 and East Games. Participants have three days to take a raw game idea and turn it into a working playable prototype. The theme is announced at the opening of the event, so teams start from scratch on the day. Format

National AI Hackathon 2026 - Qarshi Stage

The Qarshi stage of Uzbekistan's National AI Hackathon runs 15-18 August 2026 at the Youth Centre of Qarshi State University (Olimlar Street 17A, Qarshi, Kashkadarya Region). Participation is free. IT Park Uzbekistan Corporate Ideathon 2026

IT Park Uzbekistan ran its first internal corporate ideathon in Tashkent, closing with pitches and judging on 15 August 2026. Around 100 IT Park employees formed 24 teams and worked through a structured problem-discovery, hypothesis-testing and solution-design cycle over several days, timed to mark 35 years of Uzbekistan's independence. Each team had three minutes to pitch plus five minutes of Q&A. The jury combined IT Park management with external evaluators from Astana Hub, CS Angels Club and IT Park Ventures, scoring on practical significance, relevance and development potential. NEXUS30 Hackathon 2026

NEXUS30 is a three-day product hackathon running in Tashkent on 14-16 August 2026, starting at 09:00 at 13 Ziyolilar Street in the Mirzo Ulugbek district. Teams build a working prototype in 72 hours and pitch it to a jury at the end of the weekend. Format

National AI Hackathon 2026 — Navoi Stage

The National AI Hackathon continues its tour of Uzbekistan's regions with a four-day stage in Navoi, 10–13 August 2026, held at the Shirin Culture Palace (Shirin Madaniyat saroyi), 4A Memorlar Street. Tracks. Teams build AI solutions to real problems in three directions: healthcare and pharmaceuticals, education, and entrepreneurship. Participants work alongside mentors and experienced specialists, then pitch their prototypes to a panel of experts. Who can join. Open to AI enthusiasts aged 16 and over with a valid ID. Registration is individual and subject to approval by the organisers. This stage is reserved for residents of the Navoi region, and applicants who already took part in another regional stage are not eligible. Cost and prizes. Participation is free. Winners receive prizes including an Apple MacBook Air and cash awards; the strongest teams from every regional stage advance towards the National AI Hackathon grand final in Tashkent in December 2026. Organised by the AI Alliance NGO as part of the nationwide National AI Hackathon programme, which has already run stages in Samarkand, Bukhara and Fergana.

International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2026 — Tashkent

Uzbekistan hosts the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2026) in Tashkent from 9 to 16 August 2026 — the world's most prestigious competitive-programming contest for secondary-school students, and one of the five major international science olympiads. Scale. IOI 2026 sets a record for the competition's history: 386 contestants from 97 countries, accompanied by around 300 international team leaders, deputy leaders and IOI Committee members, plus representatives of major global IT companies. Venue. The official competition venue is the Central Asian Expo (CAEx) Uzbekistan International Exhibition Center in Tashkent; delegations are accommodated at the New Uzbekistan Hotel Village, with the host committee covering local expenses, full catering and domestic transfers for contestants and leaders from 9 to 16 August. Format. Contestants compete individually over two five-hour competition days, solving algorithmic problems judged automatically. Between competition days the programme includes excursions and cultural events across Tashkent. Why it matters. Uzbekistan becomes only the second Central Asian country to host the IOI, after Kazakhstan in 2015. The national team, which took silver and bronze at IOI 2025 in Bolivia, competes on home ground. Participation is by national delegation only — countries register through the official IOI 2026 host organising committee at ioi2026.uz.

National Transport Hackathon 2026

Uzbekistan's first National Transport Hackathon brought teams to the Radisson Blu Hotel in Tashkent for a 72-hour offline sprint on digital services and artificial intelligence for the transport sector. Organizers and partners

Teams worked on projects spanning aviation, rail and road transport, with mentoring from experts in transport, AI, data analytics and digital products. Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov said digitalizing transport remains a key reform priority and that the ministry intends to make the hackathon a regular event. According to First Deputy Minister Mamanbiy Omarov, the ministry runs more than 40 digital projects and its information systems are used by around 5 million people each month.

IT Park Code Cup 2026

IT Park Code Cup 2026 was a team competitive-programming contest organised by IT Park Uzbekistan. After an online qualifying round, the offline final stage was held on 1 August 2026 at Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT), where eight teams of three competed head-to-head. Teams were judged on their command of algorithms and competitive programming, analytical thinking, the efficiency of their solutions to complex problems, and teamwork under time pressure. Results

Global Business Services Forum (GBSF) 2026

The Global Business Services Forum (GBSF) 2026 is a two-day international forum on outsourcing and digital services, organized by IT Park Uzbekistan together with global partners. It takes place on 24-25 July 2026 at the IT Park Complex, Muminov Street 4, Tashkent. The forum brings together international and local IT companies, business services centers, investors and industry experts to discuss the development of global business services, digital outsourcing and export-oriented IT services. Agenda topics include the impact of artificial intelligence on the services market, trends in relocating operational processes, and the growth of Uzbekistan's digital services sector. AI in FinTech Meetup 2026 - GDG Tashkent

AI in FinTech Meetup 2026 was a free in-person tech talk hosted by GDG Tashkent on 9 July 2026 at the IMPACT.T technology hub, 186 Bogiboston Street, Tashkent. ActInSpace Uzbekistan 2026 - National Stage

National stage of the international ActInSpace hackathon led by CNES (France) and ESA, hosted at Tashkent University of Information Technologies together with the Uzbekspace Agency. Around 100 students from across Uzbekistan built projects on satellite data and space technology in a single day; the winning team advanced to represent Uzbekistan at the international finals in Bordeaux, France.

National AI Hackathon 2026 - Samarkand Stage

Second regional stage of Uzbekistan National AI Hackathon in Samarkand. ~400 specialists in teams built AI solutions for healthcare, cybersecurity, education and entrepreneurship.

AI500 Hackathon 2025

One of the largest AI hackathons in the history of Uzbekistan, organized by the IT Community of Uzbekistan together with Agrobank, with a prize fund of up to 500 million UZS. More than 2500 applications and 1345 teams competed; the 50 strongest projects reached the final in Tashkent on 13 December 2025. The grand prize of 200 million UZS went to team Apollo for an AI system that detects plant diseases from photos.

Tashkent local edition of the NASA Space Apps Challenge, the world largest annual hackathon, using open NASA data for space and earth science challenges.

Innovative AI Hackathon 2025

International AI hackathon organized by the International Coding Academy, the University of Munster (Germany), School21 and IT Park Uzbekistan. 48-hour hackathon held as part of Innoweek-2024 at UzExpoCenter (Pavilion 2) in Tashkent, hosted by Tashkent University of Information Technologies. Participants worked across four tracks - Social Tech, Enterprise Tech, Industry Tech and Health Tech - building projects, gaining skills and making connections.
