What it is
Uzbekistan has a growing hackathon scene — and the people who build these events deserve recognition. Each year hackathons.uz names the Uzbekistan Hackathon of the Year: the public hackathon that best brought the community together. Our way of putting the local scene — and its organisers — on the map.
Who's eligible
- ✅ A hackathon, gamethon, ideathon, codeathon or similar build-event
- ✅ Held in Uzbekistan during 2026 — online or offline
- ✅ Public — open to external participants (anyone could apply / register)
- ❌ Not private or internal-only events inside a single company or institution
